Connection Services

Under NT II there are two types of connection services:

  • Network Connection Services, and
  • Network Extension Services.

Network Connection Services (NCS) are wide area network (WAN) services connecting customer sites directly to the NT II core. NCS can be shared between customers who are located at the same site or cluster of sites. TMD facilitates agreement between customers as to how costs and service bandwidths will be apportioned.

Network Extension Services (NES) are point-to-point services which extend a customer's network from one customer site to another.

There is a wide range of grades and capacities of connection service available to a wide range of locations across and beyond the state.
