Core Network

The foundation of NT II is a common core network providing:

• a separate, secure IP network for each customer, based on a single physical infrastructure
• connectivity, data transmission and security between all NT II customers, services, and service suppliers, and
• gateways and interconnection points for connecting to other suppliers and third party networks.

The core network services are:

• security architecture, infrastructure and management
• network design and planning
• IP address and DNS management
• Government gateways, and
• interfaces to other networks and services.
