Mobile Link

Mobile link is an enhancement to the TASINET Voice Communications service. Dialing into your office from your mobile phone, dialing between mobiles or calling a mobile from the office has never been easer or more secure.

What phone types will work with Mobile Link?

The only requirement to fully utilise this feature is to be a TASINET Spectrum customer who currently uses the Telstra MobileNet cellular telephone service. Mobile Link will work with all Telstra mobile phones.

How does Mobile Link work?

TASINET Mobile Link gives you the ease of four digit extension dialing within your own Customer Group from anywhere in Australia. In addition, TASINET can now connect you with your mobile in three ways:

Mobile to extension - dial the 4 digit extension number

Extension to mobile - dial 19 plus the extension number

Mobile to mobile - dial 19 plus the extension number

The benefits of these services are:-

  • they are fully integrated into the TASINET system
  • they are fully supported by TASINET's experienced staff
  • ease of dialing - put the intelligence of the TASINET network to work for you

But what will it cost?

This TASINET feature is free. Call charges will remain unchanged either to or from phones utilising the Mobile Link feature

Will my mobile phone set-up change?

No. There will be no change to the way you use your mobile phone.

How do I get Mobile Link connected?

Contact the TASINET Customer Service Centre for an order form, which will require the following information:

  1. the mobile telephone number
  2. the unique TASINET extension to which it is to be linked
  3. the TASINET customer group (eg Govt South - 123)
  4. the appropriate contact pont or owner of the service.
